Regrowth from Last Season!

We had such a mild winter that everything survived. The only herbs that died were the basil and tomatoes (do tomatoes count?). In the garden, besides what I’ve planted, from last year onions and potatoes are already coming up. Here are a few of the other plants left from last year:

Chamomile

Lots of chamomile. In fact,  I’ve transplanted it into 3 different spots.

Catnip came up in multiple spots. It lived where it was planted last season and it came up in several places in the vegetable garden! I’ve moved all of it beside the “herb staircase.”

Lemon Thyme

Lemon Thyme is fabulous. What a fragrance! It became huge in this spot near the waterfall. I also have it all through the stone staircase.

The Oregano also grew huge last year in  2 garden spots. Again, because of the size this year, I’ve transplanted it along the herb staircase.

And, all the fruit is going strong. Blueberries, Strawberries, and Red Raspberries should all produce nicely this year! What a fun, fabulous garden!

  1. I want some of your camomile. I’ve had pretty close to zero luck with any I’ve ever tried.

I hope you have a better berry crop this year. Didn’t it start out wonderfully last year but then produce very little? My blueberry bushes look okay but aren’t producing yet. I’m trying to be patient!
